Who said only kids can have fun on Halloween? Below is a list spooky goings-on in London for Halloween to scare yourself and your friends silly!
All Dogs Matter: Halloween Dog Walk and Fancy Dress, 27th October
If your feeling charitable this Halloween, why not raise money, have fun and walk the dog all at once! All proceeds from this Halloween dog walk on Hampstead Heath go to the All Dogs Matter charity. There’s mulled juice and prizes for best dog and owner fancy dress back at the Spaniards Inn on Sunday 27th October. Registration starts at 10:30 am. Entry fee is £5 per dog. London Eye: Witch Academy, from 26th October
The London Eye gets mysteriously transformed into the set of a spooky witch story, featuring the High Witch Priscilla and the evil Grimly Grim (voiced by Harry Enfield). Storytelling, participation and fancy dress are combined for oodles of fun as you get panoramic views across the city. From Saturday 26th October to Saturday 2nd November. The Duke Mitchell Film Club: Halloween Horrors, 28th October
The monthly film club at the Phoenix Artist Club on Charing Cross Road hosts an evening of horror shorts, old and new. It’s free! Just turn up at 7pm! For more information check out the Facebook event page!
Halloween Movie Mash-Up Weekend, 25-27th October
Screenings of A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Halloween at the Portobello Pop-Up Cinema (3 Acklam Road) are accompanied by Halloween activities such as pumpkin carving, apple bobbing and maybe dressing up a bit.
Tickets cost £5.50 including booking fee, pre-book them here. Doors 6pm film starts at 7pm.
