Who won what at the British Fashion Awards 2012 last night at London’s prestigious Savoy Hotel?

The annual British Fashion Awards which took place last night at the glamorous Savoy Hotel in London saw thirteen of fashion’s biggest names take home awards. Guests included Valentino, McQueen’s Sarah Burton and Hilary Alexander. Princess Beatrice was also amongst the invited and presented Harold Tillman (the outgoing chairman of the British Fashion Council) his ‘Special Recognition’ award.

Model of the Year went to Cara Delevingne, while her competitors David Gandy and Jourdan Dunn lost out. For the third consecutive year, Alexa Chung won the British Style Award and the New Establishment Award went to Erdem. The Designer Brand Award and Designer of the Year Award went to Stella McCartney, no doubt due to her contribution to the Olympic uniforms this year, which meant other brands including Burberry, Alexander McQueen and Mary Kantrantzou missed out.
