Upcycle Fashion Course at the V&A Museum

Work with fashion designer Juliana Sissons at the Victoria and Albert Museum and members of 198 Contemporary Arts & Learning this summer. Take inspiration from the V&A’s vast fashion collection to create your own look by upcycling unwanted fabric and clothes to create new original designs.

Learn design and printing skills to produce a new collection of T-Shirts for HustleBucks, Brixton’s youth fashion brand and have your garments displayed and retailed at their shop in The Brixton Village Gain an Arts Awards, learn new skills and get an insight into the fashion industry.

For: 16–24 year olds interested in exploring careers in fashion and retail
Free: No previous experience needed
Dates: Pre course taster: 17 July
Course: 29 July – 23 August 2013
