UK comedian Eddie Kadi spoke to Endz2Endz’s Andre Johnson. He spoke about his life and also growing up outside London.

The Congo born Comedian, Eddie Kadi spoke to us a few weeks ago as he was present at the Ultimate Afrobeats Show presented by famous Afrobeats Dj, Dj Neptizzle.

Kadi who grew up in Kinshasa , came here when he was eight years old. He lived in North London. He went on to do a lot of stand up comedy and has made several songs that bring out more of the comical side of his work. A few years ago he featured on ‘The Lenny Henry Show‘.

He also has been awarded with many honours such as ‘comedian of the year’ back in 2012.

We asked him, how come in every song  you make, it always involves someone burning rice.

“People don’t make rice with love any more. The same way they burn the rice, it burns my heart.”

He then went on to speak about growing up in Kinshasa, “It was good you know, at a really young age coming here made me grateful for what I had here and helped me know exactly what I wanted to do”
