Indiana Ifill tells us her journey, societies role models and how music is a necessity in her life.

The 18 Year old Singer/Songwriter from Canary Wharf told us how she believes that music is something needed in every situation as she said “music is adaptable in every moment”.

She also told us that “Before I left the house this morning, I was listening to No Type by Rae sremmund I am a person of the moment, music makes me feel good. Everybody needs music so I will listen to what I feel like, whether its Jhene Aiko or Wale. That’s what I Love about music, it creates an environment.

Ifill, does many covers to other artists on Youtube and believes she has a long way to go in her career, but wants to work hard to make sure she gets to a great position.

We asked her what she thinks about the examples in music today she had to say “To be honest I think that a lot of artists are judged, many of them are not what the media portrays them to be in front of the camera or what they sing in their songs. I believe their talents speak for themselves, if they have the ability to do certain things then let them use their abilities.”
