Upcoming UK singer-songwriter Folly Rae, gives Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You’ a new edge.

Folly Rae - Tonight I'm Getting Over You [Carly Rae Jepsen Cover]Folly Rae is an upcoming futuristic folk singer-songwriter from Hertfordshire. The half English half Norwegian artist started writing poetry 4 years ago which grew into songs after an emotional split with her then boyfriend.

Making her mark on the ever-growing UK music scene the upstart singer has covered Carly Rae Jepsen’s dance track ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You’.

Last month, I introduced you to Folly’s fellow Giza Music Group’s artist Vicktor Taiwò,who recently released his original song ‘Castles’.

Produced by GMG’s dynamic duo Scholar&Stix, who put their magic on Vicktor’s ‘Kiss You’ cover, Folly’s futuristic, but smooth alternative spin of ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You’ track is not only captivating but refreshing.

Folly’s debut EP My Enemy which is’ is a “culmination of her relationship experiences sonically” is set to be released later on this year; following the release of its first single ‘Free Your Mind’, out Summer 2013.
