Introducing upcoming dancehall artist Slighce and his latest collaboration ‘Born Bad’, with Kray-Z & Vyral.
Jamaican artist Slighce brings a very different style to dancehall music. With his heart being set on music from the age of 16, since taking it seriously he has featured on Jamaican cyphers with Short Filmz JA , and made many tracks under his label G3Musik.
Before his latest collaboration the young artist from Kingston, Jamaica released his most recent solo track, ‘Nah Guh Cry’ where he took a different approach, putting his vocals out there which he explains as, “Just a phase, just being versatile”.
Treating the studio like his second home, Slighce is forever working hard to create a name for himself and dreams of becoming a household name in his homeland, and then be known worldwide as one of the best Dancehall artists being constantly inspired by artists like Busy Signal, Aidonia and Vybez Kartel. He aspires to be the best at what he does, among all UK and US artists he feels that his music is something different with regards to content and flow.
‘Born Bad’ is the latest the latest tune he has worked on officially being released two days ago and featuring two other Jamaican artists, Kray-Z and Vyral each trying to make it to the top. With this tune, I would say they really aren’t very far from it. From the beat alone, to each artists individual style and flow, this is a big tune.
Slighce dreams of collaborating with artists like Movado, Kanye West, Drake and Rihanna and says;
I’m a hard-working, dedicated artist striving to be the best.
He has developed as an artist over the years and is definitely one to look out for.
