Kanye West unveils the title, artwork and release date of his sixth studio album.
After much anticipation and a full on promotional weekend, Kanye West has revealed the release date and title of his sixth solo album. Pictures of what appears to be the official packaging for the album, surfaced on the net over the weekend.
Entitled Yeezus, the album is scheduled to drop June 18 – which clears up the ambiguous date he dropped in a now deleted tweet a few weeks back.
Yeezy’s official website has been updated with the packaging of , and girlfriend Kim Kardashian and manager Don C. have posted the following image on their Instagram accounts.
The news followed after his innovative marketing strategy that took place over the weekend in in 10 cities across the world; which saw the rap creative project his new song ‘New Slaves’ on 66 buildings.
The rapper also performed another new song – ‘Black Skinhead’ on the season finale of SNL.
Yeezus is rumoured to feature guest appearances from 2 Chainz, Odd Future, Daft Punk, Chief Keef and Skrillex, to name just a few.
