The-Dream reveals ‘AK47’ a new single from the commercial re-release of his previously free EP, 1977.

It’s definitely been a while since we’ve heard anything from the R&B vet, The Dream. Dedicating most of his time to his new position as Executive Vice President of A&R at Def Jam, I’m pretty ecstatic to be hearing something fresh from him.

The Dream has announced the re-release of 1977, which first came out last year and was all sorts of awesome. This updated version complete with brand new cover art will be available to purchase from December 18th (just in time for Christmas!). We still await the release however, of Love IV MMXII, which was set to be released at the end of last year but has been postponed by The Dream for an indefinite period of time.

Until then, check out ‘AK47’, a previously unreleased track from 1977. Let us know what you think!
