Twitter’s Vine for Android introduces hashtagging and mentions in its latest update.

Vine for Android #hashtag updateThe world is going #hashtag wild! Twitter’s Vine has been the latest app to conform to the Twitter famous #hashtag. Luckily though, Vine is owned by Twitter, so there’s an excuse. Whereas, Facebook – I mean, talk about being defeated by their own competitor!

Okay, enough about that – so, Twitter’s Vine has now introduced the #hashtag to make it easier for users to search for videos relating to keywords, plus to make it more easier there’s a hashtag auto-complete. It now also includes mentions – allowing you to tag people in your posts and comments!

Prior to incorporating the #hashtag feature, it was a lot more difficult for users to find videos relating to a particular subject.

Now, calm has been restored (created) as they’ve succumbed to the idea of having Twitter’s infamous #hashtag.

It’s about time too, no-one can turn the TV or computer on without seeing a # this or # that!

#Goodbye!
