Liverpool manger Brendan Rodgers has insisted there has been no bids made for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger.
Many rumors has recently presented themselves about Liverpool defender Daniel Agger, with many clubs linked with the former Danish player of the year.
With Arsenal losing Thomas Vermaelen to Barcelona and Manchester United losing out on the former Arsenal man, leaves those two clubs battling out for Agger. Also, Tottenham are linked with him as well.
The defender has been at Anfield since 2006, with two years left on his contract the 29 year old will be hoping to be at his best.
The team’s manager Brenden Rodgers said:
I’ve seen some stories on that but, no, we haven’t had any enquiries. Dan’s still getting some work done on his knee, he’s been a bit unfortunate since America. He’s still getting treatment but we haven’t had anything, no offers.
Rodgers stated he will be adding more signing during the transfer market, he went on to say, “there are maybe one or two more to come, but come the end of August I think we will hopefully have depth in our squad and be ready to challenge.”
