When should I start revising?

Exam season is soon, but also very far. Is now the time to start working hard for your exams or should you risk leaving it last minute.

You’ve probably heard the same thing over and over again. Study hard if you don’t want to end up in Macdonalds. Study hard so you don’t end up in Brixton market selling fish. With exam season soon, it’s a time where you begin to panic and delete Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other irrelevant things in your life.

The stress is becoming too much and your mum is up your behind because you might not make it into uni. Results day comes and you fail, becoming the disgrace of the family not making it into uni.

However, you could have prevented it by revising now
!! It’s March, exams begin in May. You have 2 months to get your grades up.

In 2015, the pass rate for A-levels was 98.1% [Source: Independent]. That was a good number
. A percentage of 60% of students start revising 3 weeks before they take exams. ASK! There is no harm in asking for help as you don’t want to leave it too late.

Think positively. This can keep you excited to revise because come on, no one likes to revise! But, if you stay positive you’ll probably have reason to revise  and continue.

What are you waiting
