Azealia Banks drops her much-anticipated creepy visual for ‘Yung Rapunxel’.
After revealing a three-minute creep-fest of a teaser video last week, Harlem raptress Azealia Banks has finally unleashed her crazy visual for ‘Yung Rapunxel’.
The Jam Sutton directed videos sees Azealia take on a dark demeanour as opposed to her fun and bubbly character in ‘212’. The out of the box creativity of the clip is reminiscent of Missy Elliott’s early videos. It also seems to borrow ideas from Madonna’s ‘Bedtime Story’ and M.I.A’s ‘Born Free’ visuals.
For the video of the shouty and creepy track Banks is accompanied by scary owls, riot police and a rodeo bull; complete with plenty of visual manipulation – which sees her mouth replace her eyes!
The Lil Internet produced track is lifted from her Interscope backed debut Broke With Expensive Taste, which still hasn’t been given a release date.
Watch the creepy visual below, you might not want to watch it before bedtime!
