Justin Timberlake drops the reflective visual for his latest single ‘Mirrors’.
Delivering in droves, Justin Timberlake releases the visuals for ‘Mirrors’, the second single taken from The 20/20 Experience. It is an eight minutes and twenty seconds ode to his grandparents and who directed video mesmerises us for the entire duration.
The Timbaland produced track pulls back the curtains on JT’s private life, and the video depicts this beautifully. The clip opens with a dedication to his grandparents, reflecting each other in everything they do. However, the man acting as his late grandfather William (who sadly passed last year) is barely shown, a spirit kept alive through the sincere love he shared with his wife Sadie.
The video takes us on a journey through William and Sadie’s 63 years of marriage. When Sadie’s Swarovski ring drops – signifying her loss, we are brought to a halt to induce the Timbofied interlude where we are greeted by JT and a room filled with mirrors. Rocking his side-parting and Christian Louboutin metal toe cap lace-ups, Justin graces us with his much missed dance moves.
The video is overwhelmed with emotion and is a beautiful reflection of the rare commodity that is true love. Watch and enjoy it below.
