Kendrick Lamar drops of the video for ‘Poetic Justice’ featuring Drake.
Over the weekend, Kendrick Lamar released the video for his good kid, m.A.A.d city banger ‘Poetic Justice’. Featuring Drake, the deep and powerful visual depicts the two very different lives that the two artists live. Kendrick shows us road life in Compton while we see Drake kicking in a safe hotel room.
The clip, mostly in slow motion, opens with Kendrick and a young ladies eyes making four in a huge crowd – which seems to be a street party. The budding romance is paused due to a shoot-out from a third-party. Following the drama, a phone call tries comes through on an iPhone from Drake, his verse is delivered as voice-mail.
It’s not until the end of the video when we see what all the commotion was about and the result of the shooting.
