Miguel drops a powerful and touching visual for ‘Candles In The Sun’.
Known for his sensual, sultry and sexy sounds Miguel steers into a more political direction with his track ‘Candles In The Sun’. The cut from his sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dreams, is one that may have gone unnoticed by some, but proves that Miguel has depth and is very versatile as an artist.
Just as his smash hit ‘Adorn’ is reminiscent of Marvin Gaye’s ‘Sexual Healing’, his soulful and touching track which questions the wrongs in the world and the presence of God is much like Gaye’s 70s track, ‘What’s Going On’.
Speaking on the track Miguel stated:
It’s so easy to ignore what’s right in front of us sometimes. I wanted to create a song and visual that addressed my everyday concerns of life as I know it in the world that we live in.
Is there a God? Is he watching? Is she watching? Are they watching now? See for yourself below.
