Get ready for this weekend, as Notting Hill Carnival is on its way!
The Notting Hill Carnival has been held every August bank holiday since 1966. This year’s festival starts Sunday 26th until Monday 27th. It begins at 9am and ends at 7pm on both days. Sunday is children’s day and Monday is the general celebration, which attracts thousands of people from all over the world!
There will be traditional Caribbean food served such as jerk chicken, rice and peas and rum punch. Of course there will be music from Soca, Bashment and Reggae to R&B. There will be live stages also with local bands and top international artists and much more.
The only thing to take note of is that there is no reception so make sure you stay close to who you go with!
