Did you know the origin of Mother’s Day goes back to the era of ancient Greek and Romans? And Anna Jarvis is recognised as the Founder of Mothers Day in US? Well, Mother’s Day is on the 10th March and instead of just giving her flowers check out these events instead!

Sweet Pea Mother’s Day

On 10th March at Hackney Downs Studios from 11 am to 1 pm. You can spend some quality time learning how to arrange flowers hosted by Sweet Pea Floral Design.  The workshops involve classes where you will learn how to make a hand tied floral bouquet or choose a class that teaches you how to make a catching centrepiece for a dinner party.  Or other skills such as choosing the perfect color palette and after the session there will be tea and cakes served. Ideal Home Show London

On 15th March to 1st April at Earls Court from 10 am to 6 pm. You  can spend time with your mom at one of the biggest home and lifestyle events where you will be inspired by viewing the latest concept in living designs. There will be a line up of Celebrities  present at the event throughout the day. Celebrity Chefs will be sharing the secrets and give cooking tips as well as expert home designers giving top tips. There will be a beauty bar too and so much more! Advance weekday tickets are £12 and £14 for the weekend. On the door £16.50 on weekdays and £18.50 on weekends. Children under 16’s entry is free.
