Endz2Endz’s Andre Johnson interviews the cast of E4’s urban TV show, ‘Youngers’.
Young British comedy drama’s are a big thing in the UK. Now imagine if you had the best actors on one TV show. Well with Youngers we were able to see that. We were able to go behind the role of the characters at the premiere of the series 2.
We first interviewed Jay Brown who plays ‘Bangs’, who is a arrogant trouble making big boy who is not really a younger as such but is actually older than most of the actors on set. Here is what he had to say!
“When I got the call I was excited you know, being able to represent myself and do good things with my self and pursue my dreams is wonderful, I also do a lot of youth work in the community and through me getting this opportunity I am able to give back to my community. This just shows that its not about where you are from that makes you who you are but, what’s in your mind.”
Also, on the day we met up with the three boys from the popular YouTube comedy, Mandem On The Wall had a positive response to being involved in Youngers as Dee Kartier said, “I remember growing up as a youth looking for an opportunity and now, I am an opportunity is such a big thing to say, experience and be part of.”
The group said they wouldn’t had got to where they are now if it wasn’t for team work and the people they surrounded themselves with from the start and in the process of success.
On the night we were able to meet the whole cast and how the TV show had effected their lives and what they expect from it. There was a real buzz about the show and what was in store for us.
Be sure to expect much more than acting but also passion, the show may be called “Youngers” but the actors are mentally developed and strong which is needed in an actor in this day and age.
The new series premieres tonight (May 7th) on E4 at 7:30; Sky 136, Freeview 28, Virgin 144 and Freesat 122.
