Here at E2E we’re all about celebrating young people and talent, so it’s only right we introduce you to a young and talented upcoming artist called Young Ty!

Young Ty is an 11-year-old lyricist who was born and raised in West London’s Ladbroke Grove, who started his musical career at the tender age of 9 years young. He’s a conscious young man, who naturally takes to voicing his opinions on subject matters like thug rapping, gang culture, the age of lust, lies and murder.

Ty made his performance debut at a tribute event, held in memory of Rico Gordon, who tragically lost his life to gun crime in last year in Bristol; where he performed his track ‘Crazy Life’. Since then he has been booked for much larger crowds one being Reading Festival 2012, where he performed his track ‘I Have A Dream’.

Young Ty’s passion for music lead his mum to finding him producers to take his career up a notch. Now he’s in the studio working with the likes of Niko Dey – founding member of Cash Crew who produced ‘Crazy Life’ and ‘I Have A Dream’. He has also been working with Sky Beats, a producer from Kraft House Music who has worked with the likes of Gappy Ranks and Shaun Powerz.

Currently Young Ty is working hard on his first mixtape History In The Making, which will be hosted by DJ Ames.
