Amazon delivers Grand Theft Auto 5 before official release date
Amazon delivers copies of the “Grand Theft Auto Five” days ahead of the official launch on Tuesday!
The official launch of Grand Theft Auto 5 is almost upon us! Tomorrow, the most-anticipated game since The Sims 4, will hit the shelves. But, it seems that Amazon have already delivered the game to many its customers, who pre-ordered it. Some of which, have posted the images on social networking sites.
BBC News claims that many customers had their copies game delivered as early as Saturday, before it has even gone on sale! Rockstar North, are investigating Amazon’s blunder.
This isn’t the first time something’s gone wrong for Rockstar Games, and GTA5. Earlier this month, Sony issued the gaming company with an apology after major gameplay footage was leaked online.
Most people who were awaiting the game’s release felt as though Sony had ruined the ending, and vital parts of the game. However, even after all these issues – GTA is still the most eagerly-awaited game and most expensive game of its time! Costing £170m to make and market, and £75 to pre-order, it seems like Rockstar Games are quids in!
