Nas show proceeds to go to Amy Winehouse Foundation

Nas announces that his London show ticket proceeds will be going towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

After his three sold out shows in London, Nas will be back for a one-off concert at The O2 next March. He has that proceeds from the concert will go towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The Brooklyn rapper and the late North London singer has become good friend’s before her untimely death in 2011. His most recent tribute to her being the release of his posthumous collaboration with the singer on ‘Cherry Wine’.

The charity set up by Amy Winehouse’s family following her death helps vulnerable young people in the UK and abroad, and £1 from every ticket sold will be going towards the foundation. Supporting the hip-hop legend will be Maybach Music’s rookie Meek Mill. This will mark the duo’s first ever performance at the mega music venue.

The arena show will be taking place at The O2 on March 19th 2013, and the tickets go on sale today!
