Manchester United players to learn their fate
Louis Van Gaal today said that he will decide whether some Manchester United players will stay and is apparently lining up a bid for U21 star Quincy Promes.
Manchester United will return from their tour in the United States where new manager Louis van Gaal will sit down and decide the fate of some players in his team.
The 25 man squad will have been competing in the International Champions Cup in Miami against Liverpool.
Those reportedly facing uncertain futures are Javier Hernandez, Shinji Kagawa Wilfried Zaha, along with Marouane Fellaini and Anderson who did not make the trip west.
The Dutchman said:
I shall make judgements after the tour. I have let all the players play so I know now more than I did before.
But in football, you have to judge. Always, you have to give a chance to a player to make a transfer when you see that his perspective is not so high to play.
You have to say it in advance. When you say it on August 31st, it’s too late. I shall say to the players what I think after the tour.
In other news, Manchester United are linked with under 21 FC Twente and Holland star Quincy Promes.
Louis van Gaal is apparently going to line up a £20 million bid for the winger.
