Snoop Dogg unleashes Snoop Lion in his video for his upcoming album’s lead single, ‘La La La’.
After announcing his twelfth studio album Reincarnated, a new documentary and revealing his name change back in February; Snoop Dogg now operating under the pseudonym ‘Snoop Lion’ has revealed the album’s first visual.
The Major Lazer produced track that was released over the summer and now has an official video. In the Eli Roth directed clip, we see Snoop being questioned by some face painted pre-schoolers about his name change, the video then proceeds to a funeral like procession where the ‘Dogg’ is locked away in a coffin and the ‘Lion’ is born!
The Halloween/fancy dress themed video is very different for the rapper as it is cute and quite reminiscent of Sesame Street, but is a bit worrying with children be showcased in a video with animated characters promoting smoking.
Nevertheless the reggae inspired track is a catchy and off course a laid back one. Watch the video below.
